Context
British Airways is the flag carrier airline of the United Kingdom. It operates a large and diverse fleet of over 250 aircrafts, including models from Boeing and Airbus. British Airways flies to over 180 destinations worldwide spanning across 6 continents.
Aim
Design an interactive dashboard that allows users to highlight key performance metrics and explore British Airways reviews by multiple categories, such as:
Date
Seat Type
Traveler Type
Region
The Dashboard
The British Airways Annual Review Dashboard showcases Key Performance Indicators based on ratings and reviews for their, services, aircraft types and overall rating by country from March 2016 to October 2023.
The Dataset
The dataset is made up of 2 .csv(s) for Country Data and Customer Reviews data. The connection is set to handle Many-to-Many cardinality, meaning that both tables have multiple records matching with each other. The Referential Integrity is set to "Some records match," meaning not all records in one table may have a corresponding match in the other.
The dataset includes average ratings for different categories like Cabin Staff Services, Entertainment and more. The Average Overall Rating by Aircraft section lists various aircraft models while the Average Overall Rating by Year shows data from 2016 to 2023. A world map highlights ratings by country, while a bar chart displays the number of reviews for different aircraft types. Filters allow selection by continent, date, aircraft group, seat type, traveler type, and metric.
Setting up the visuals
The British Airways Annual Review Dashboard provides a clear overview of key performance indicators, including average ratings for overall experience, cabin staff, entertainment, food, ground service, seat comfort, and value for money, displayed prominently at the top.

It features a bar chart comparing "Average Overall Rating by Aircraft," a line graph for "Average Rating by Year," and a world map with "Average Rating by Country" for geographical insights. Additional bar charts show review volumes per aircraft type.
Interactive filters allow users to customize the view by continent, aircraft group, seat type, traveler type, and specific metrics, making it easy to access relevant insights for informed decision-making.
